Eduardo Defortuna
PRESIDENT AND CEO
Mr. Defortuna is the President, CEO, and Founder of Fortune International Group, a comprehensive real estate company based in Miami, recognized throughout South Florida, Latin America, and Europe as a leader in luxury real estate. He oversees all company activities through its various business units. Mr. Defortuna is involved in the group’s strategic decision-making as well as the daily operations of each of its divisions.
He founded the company in 1983 and quickly became a driving force in the real estate sector. Thanks to the success of his company and its reach in the U.S., European, and Latin American markets, Mr. Defortuna is widely recognized for significantly contributing to the internationalization of Miami and its reputation as a global hub for business, trade, and tourism. He is currently a member of the Miami Mayor's International Council and also serves as a Director of the Argentine-American Chamber of Commerce in Miami. Additionally, he is involved in several charitable organizations in Miami, including Manos del Sur, Mt. Sinai Hospital, and St. Stephen’s Episcopal School.
Mr. Defortuna holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Chemical Engineering from the National University of Argentina and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Miami. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is married to Ana Cristina and has five children.
